Taylor Swift is back in the Bay State after a long time away, and even though she’s playing 30 miles away in Foxborough, she has fully sold out Boston.
Concerts can be good for the income of a town. A study by Oxford Economics found that concerts and live entertainment had a total economic effect of $17.5 billion on the country in 2019.
According to the study, if someone from out of town spent $100 on a concert ticket, they would spend an additional $334.92 in the local economy, for a total of $434.92 in spending.
