Morgan Wallen Arrested In Nashville
According to Fox News Digital, country music artist Morgan Wallen was taken into custody in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday night for reportedly hurling a chair off a rooftop bar.
Wallen, 30, is accused of three charges of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct, according to court filings. Only a few days had passed since Wallen’s first two Indianapolis gigs on his One Night At A Time 2024 tour began.
Morgan Wallen was taken into custody in downtown Nashville at 10:53 p.m. on Sunday night on charges of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. According to Worrick Robinson, Wallen’s attorney, “he is cooperating fully with authorities.”
The singer was freed at 3:29 a.m. after being booked for an arrest at 12:36 a.m. The amount of his bond was $15,250.
The Metro Nashville Police Department posted Wallen’s mugshot for the arrest on Twitter. The singer is seen in the picture smiling broadly.
They released the mugshot along with the statement, “Country artist Morgan Wallen, 30, was booked early today on 3 cts of felony reckless endangerment and 1 ct of misdemeanor disorderly conduct for throwing a chair from the rooftop of Chief’s Bar Sun night. The chair landed on Broadway, close to 2 MNPD officers. His bond: $15,250.”

According to an arrest record, a chair fell from above Sunday night, falling a few feet away from four Nashville police officers who were standing in front of Chief’s Bar on Broadway, according to WTVF. The bar, backed by Eric Church, recently opened on Friday, April 5.
According to a police document, staff at the event then informed authorities that Wallen had thrown the chair from the sixth story. In a picture that TMZ was able to obtain, Wallen was spotted on the street with police prior to his detention.
Police saw footage of Wallen “lunging and throwing an object over the roof,” according to the arrest record. According to court records, Wallen’s initial court date is scheduled for the morning of May 3.
