Aaron worked as an auctioneer at Gorringe’s antique auctions in Lewes, Sussex, for eleven years after finishing his studies in 2002. Then, in 2013, he made the transition to television, where he worked as a valuer and researcher on the BBC show Flog It!
Christina and Aaron established Trevanion & Dean, an auction company in Shropshire, in 2014. However, after Aaron resigned after five years, Christina acquired full control of the company in 2019. In 2021, he joined Adam Partridge Auctioneers. Aaron stated as he was leaving:
“I am delighted that Christina is now taking over the business. I’m excited to see it thrive under her leadership. I’ve had a fantastic four years at Trevanion and Dean, full of laughter and fun, and it’s time for me to move on.”
The company is now known as Trevanion Auctioneers and Valuers and is based in Whitchurch, near the Cheshire border. Aaron has been employed at the Manchester Art Gallery since June 2023.
Christina normally keeps her personal life quiet, but she gave a small glimpse into it just before Christmas in 2021 when she joked about divorce on Twitter. She wrote on Twitter:
“Has anyone ever cited ‘putting up Christmas lights’ on divorce papers? Asking for a friend/current husband.”
