Current Amber Alert Cancelled: 2 Missing Children Found In Syracuse

The Amber warning for two missing kids in Cortland, New York, has been turned off. The children were found at a relative’s house in Syracuse on June 13, 2023 morning, not long after the Amber alert was sent out.

Burden Of Proof shared the canceled Amber Alert news through their Twitter.

Anthony Bowman, the father of the children, was also found.

What Was The Case? The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office has sent out Cortland, New York, New York State AMBER Alert after a child was taken from North Main St. in Cortland around 11 p.m. on Sunday. Authorities are looking into the case immediately and asking for help from the public to find the two lost children.

Anthony M. Bowman III, the first kid, is a 3-year-old black boy with short brown hair and beautiful blue eyes. He is about 106.6 cm” tall and weighs about 45 pounds. Anthony was last seen wearing an orange T-shirt, green shorts, and shoes with Paw Patrol.

The second kid is a 2-year-old black girl named Aaliyah E. Bowman. She has brown eyes and brown hair that has a curled texture. She stands about two feet tall and weighs about 25 pounds. Aaliyah was last seen wearing a multicolored skirt, flip-flops, and a purple onesie with a dark purple heart.

Anthony M. Bowman Jr., a 30-year-old Black guy, is thought to have taken the girl. He stands about 6 feet tall and weighs about 140 pounds. His hair is short and brown, and his eyes are also brown. His present clothes are unknown, but he has a Virgo sign on the lower left side of his arm and a cross and ribbon on the upper right side. At the time, WBNG 12 News also posted a Tweet to inform about the incident.

The car used in the kidnapping is a red SUV called a Chevrolet Equinox that has a lot of damage to the driver’s door. The car has a New York license plate number of KYV2137, and the driver’s side has an extra tire and rim.

The most recent report says Bowman was last seen on North Main Street. People didn’t know where he was going. The people in charge of law enforcement are sure that the kids taken are in immediate danger of getting hurt or even dying.

So, they are asking the public to be on the lookout and help in any way they can to find the two young children safely.
