Update: As a result of significant flooding, the New York State Police are recommending drivers to stay away from the Palisades Interstate Parkway, the Long Mountain Circle, Route 6, the Bear Mountain Bridge, and Highland Falls, New York (Orange and Rockland Counties).
At this time, motorists are unable to cross the William J. Moreau Popolopen Bridge in Highland Falls. Several dozens of motorists have been helped out of the area by state troopers, and they are currently conducting a check of all of the vehicles that are still trapped in the region to verify that no one has been abandoned or left behind.

Traffic Alert Rockland County: As a result of the severe flooding, New York State Police Troop F is requesting that the general public stay away from the Palisades Interstate Parkway.
Heavy floods and washouts have been reported on a number of routes in recent days, two of which are State Route 9W and the Palisades Interstate Parkway.
