The Bear Season 3 Release Date
The Bear Season 3 Release Date

In a year that has seen The Last of Us, Barry Season 4, Succession Season 4, and Swarm, it’s hard to believe that the greatest was yet to come: Season 2 of The Bear is the pinnacle of 2023 television thus far, offering up another thrilling, exhilaratingly confident helping of high-anxiety drama and gut-punching emotion.

Carmy, Sydney, and the crew at Chicago’s Original Beef scrub, tinker, pray, and cook their way through the pandemonium of reopening the restaurant as The Bear in the second season. Everyone pitches in, and while pressure creates diamonds, it also reveals old wounds and all of these people’s love, anger, and everything in between for one another. Most importantly, we’re already hungry for a third helping – so here’s what we know so far about The Bear Season 3.

Is There A Release Date For Season 3 Of The Bear?

As of the month of June 2023, there is no announcement regarding when The Bear Season 3 will be released.

There are two primary explanations for this: first, it hasn’t even been confirmed yet, and second, they haven’t started shooting it yet because the second season has only recently been made available in the United States. Both of these explanations are valid.

For the time being, all you can do is savor the flavor of the first two seasons of the show. Rest assured that we will keep you updated as soon as we learn anything new about when it will be released.

The Bear Season 3 Cast

The Bear Season 3 cast will include the following actors:

  • Jeremy Allen White as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto
  • Ayo Edebiri as Sydney Adamu
  • Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richard “Richie” Jerimovich
  • Abby Elliott as Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto
  • Lionel Boyce as Marcus
  • Liza Colón-Zayas as Tina
  • Matty Matheson as Neil Fak
  • Edwin Lee Gibson as Ebraheim
  • Oliver Platt as Uncle Jimmy
  • Chris Witaske as Pete

The epic “Fishes” episode alone drew a slew of unexpected guest stars, including Bob Odenkirk, Sarah Paulson, Will Poulter, Olivia Colman, and John Mulaney. The fate of those performers depends on where the story develops in season 2.

Carmy and Natalie’s late brother Michael (Jon Bernthal), who appeared in flashbacks for both seasons, is expected to make a return. Furthermore, if Carmy’s relationship with Claire improves, season 2 newbie Molly Gordon may reprise her part. Who knows, Jamie Lee Curtis could return to play Donna, the siblings’ mother.

The Bear Season 3 Plot

While we don’t have any official information, there are some storylines that we’d want to see carried up in The Bear Season 3.

Season 2 came to a conclusion on Friends and Family Night, but not without a snag. The following chapter will most likely follow Carmy and company as they open for business, with only a few months to earn a profit and repay Uncle Jimmy’s loan. Otherwise, the Bear will permanently close its doors.

With Carmy accidently locking himself in the walk-in fridge and damaging his relationship with Claire, we’re bound to find out where they stand now. This resulted in a difficult standoff with Richie as well. Sydney and Carmy may also be on a slow burn that will erupt in future episodes.

It also deconstructed Carmy’s family trauma. The longest episode of the season featured a flashback set at the Berzatto family’s Feast of the Seven Fishes. Insults were hurled, as were forks, and a car was driven into the house. In the present, Pete accidentally informs Donna of Natalie’s pregnancy. We wouldn’t be shocked if the next season delves deeper into their family background.
