Nevertheless, critics rated the anime relatively low due to weak animation and logical failure in the plot after the first episode in the first season. The reason for this is that the creators decided to shorten the source, “ripping out” decent chunks of the light novel from the anime adaptation. Thus, not all fans of the genre dream of knowing whether there will be a show of Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest Season 2.
