Rafael Nadal, a tennis legend, is dominating the 2020 Australian Open.
The World Number One, who is unbeaten after four matches, shattered the hearts of Aussie tennis fans on Monday night when he overcame Nick Kyrgios following a grueling four-set contest.
His wife, Xisca Perello, is watching him serve, hit, and smash his way to victory. When asked about his 2019 highlight in the post-match interview following his first Australian Open victory over Bolivian player Hugo Dellien, Nadal made a playful but unusual allusion to Perello.
He cracked a joke, “The wedding – my wife is here today.” I must now be careful with my responses!
“No, it’s been a really special year, to be honest. The outcomes have all been unforgettable.
Despite routinely traveling with Nadal to several of his tournaments, the 31-year-old is rarely mentioned or seen outside of a fleeting smile from the player’s box.
Even more difficult to find is information regarding Perello. Her age is often brought up, it’s difficult to tell what she does for fun these days, and practically all of the pictures of her that are online are candid shots. Perello’s visage is a rare sight if you browse Nadal’s personal Instagram account.

Who Is Rafael Nadal’s Wife Xisca Perello?
Maria Francisca Perello, also known as Xisca Perello, is a very private lady. She doesn’t use Twitter or Instagram openly.
Perello, who is known to the public as “Nadal’s wife,” is actually a former insurance agent, a graduate of the business school, and the current project manager for the Rafa Nadal Foundation, a nonprofit organization that Nadal founded over 10 years ago.
When tennis analyst Jim Courier brought up Nadal’s girlfriend during a discussion with the Spaniard at the 2017 Australian Open, it became widely known for the first time.
If I’m not mistaken, this is the first time you’ve taken your girlfriend Xisca [Perello] down to Australia. How has having her here been for you so far?
Nadal laughed after awkwardly managing the newfound attention in his personal life. Yes, it is accurate. His girlfriend “finally gets a wildcard to come here” after ten Open appearances.
Courier exerted slightly more pressure but received little in return. Nadal said, “You know, uh, best we stop here.”

It was a matter of “finally” when they got married after dating for 17 years.
After announcing their engagement in January 2019, they were married in October of the same year.
On the island of Majorca, where he was born, the pair exchanged wedding vows in front of about 350 guests at the La Fortaleza castle.
Actors Tom Hiddleston, Olivia Colman, and Hugh Laurie were among those invited.
Has Rafael Nadal ever had kids?
The news that Rafael Nadal and his wife Xisca are allegedly expecting their first child together is cause for celebration.
Even though the Spanish legend won another Roland Garros title, all eyes were on Perello because she was seen with a baby bump.
The tennis legend’s dream to one day have his own children is expected to come true, as he stated in 2017.
“I would love to have children: boys, girls… he said. ’m a person who loves kids and I’m a family guy.
The reality is that the years go by and I would like to begin doing all of this when my sporting life dictates it, but I also tell you that.
Having children has been tough for Mr. Nadal to consider thus far because of his professional career, he continued, adding: “I think it’s also above all about looking after the kids.
“I’m not sure if traveling constantly while raising kids is optimal.”

Why Doesn’t Xisca Frequently Attend Nadal’s Tennis Matches?
Xisca Perello admitted in one of her few interviews that she avoids the majority of Nadal’s tennis matches in an effort to keep their relationship intact.
She continued, expressing fear that if she attended all events, she could distract her fellow Spaniard from paying attention.
He needs his space when he is racing, and the thought of me waiting on his demands all day exhausts me, Xisca said in an interview with The Telegraph in 2011.
“I would suffocate from it. He would then need to be concerned about me. No. I believe there is a chance our relationship may deteriorate if I followed him everywhere.
She attended the 2020 Australian Open more frequently, and she stayed for the entirety of Nadal’s four-set victory over Nick Kyrgios.
