He worked for the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office as a certified deputy for more than 20 years. He served the county in that capacity. He also owned and managed a Grade A Farm for a period of twelve years.
His wife, Cheryl, who is 63 years old, his three daughters, Tamra Potts, Pamela, and Melony, 17 granddaughters, and 40 great-grandchildren, as well as his two sisters, Ann Morris and Linda James, and one brother, Larry Fay, are all still living today.
He was preceded in death by his sister Joyce “Barnie” Ohler, his brother Fred “Connie” Fay, as well as two granddaughters, one great-granddaughter, one niece, four nephews, and two sons-in-law.
Throughout his entire life, he was the owner and operator of an excavation company, and he also served as a mountie with the Hardin County Mounted Posse for a period of thirty years.
