For really big fans of Dude Perfect, it might be like going to Disney World. The five members of Dude Perfect, who make comedy and sports videos on YouTube and have more than 58 million subscribers, are planning a new headquarters and “family-friendly” entertainment spot.
The new three-story HQ building will have a 330-foot “trick-shot tower,” a Dude Perfect museum, mini golf, a merchandise store, restaurants, and 2 acres of outdoor space. The group told the Dallas Morning News that the building could cost as much as $100 million.
Right now, there is no estimate for when or where Dude Perfect-land might open. Sports Business Journal said that they want it to be in North Texas, but they are also talking to cities like L.A. and Atlanta about the project.
Dude Perfect and the San Antonio architecture firm Overland Partners have been working on the project for about a year. Overland Partners made the artist’s drawing of the building above. The company says that the venue is meant to “turn their digital brand into a physical destination that will excite and engage visitors and fans.”
Overland says in the description of the project, “The dynamic 330-foot canted tower rises from the site as a vertical expression of the brand known for their impossible shots.” “Inside, people can try their hand at the impossible shot as they go up a series of floors to the top of the tower and are surrounded by views of the city. The iconic tower will be the center of attention at Dude Perfect. It will be wrapped in a sweeping fabric structure.
The five members of Dude Perfect—Tyler Toney, Cody Jones, Garrett Hilbert, and the twins Coby and Cory Cotton—live in Frisco, Texas, today. The group posted its first trick-shot video in 2009, and since then, nearly 15 billion people have watched it on its channel. Dude Perfect also has a religious mission. On their website, they say, “We’re about giving back, spreading joy, and glorifying Jesus Christ.”
Dude Perfect put up an animation of the future building that will be the headquarters:
And, thanks to Overland Partners, here are some more artist’s impressions of the proposed Dude Perfect HQ:
