We can’t help but scream “Wubba lubba dub dub” in anticipation of the next season of “Rick and Morty.”
There were all the zany cosmic adventures that fans have come to expect from the show in the most recent season. This was the first time we saw Rick’s archenemy, Mr. Nimbus, face-to-face. Gluttony and corruption ruined the Smiths’ chance to manage a massive Voltron-style robot. Morty also discovered a crucial life lesson: never utilize your parents’ work equipment for your own gain.
Season 5 ended on a cliffhanger, so things are only going to get crazier for the Smiths going forward. After receiving a record-breaking order of 70 episodes, it’s only natural that the program would push the boundaries of what’s possible in an animated sitcom. There are still 50 episodes left to be filled in that renewal, so there will be plenty more mayhem. For “Rick and Morty” Season 6, here is what we know so far.
Rick And Morty Season 6 Release Date
Back at Adult Swim is Rick and Morty. The sixth season of the two-time Emmy Award-winning animated comedy series will Release on Adult Swim on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at 11 p.m. ET/PT.
Rick and Morty’s influence cannot be overstated, according to Michael Ouweleen, president of Adult Swim and Cartoon Network. “It is genuinely a global phenomenon, not just a hit show. Keep a watch out for a special opportunity to join in the excitement as we get ready to debut this soon-to-be classic season.
Rick And Morty Season 6 Cast
Season 6 of “Rick and Morty” will feature the usual suspects. We may expect more strange antics from Rick, Summer, Beth, and Jerry in the future. Other recurrent characters’ storylines in Season 5 make them interesting candidates for inclusion.
In the inaugural episode of last season, Morty’s crush Jessica was shown for the first time. As the story progressed, she changed from being a typical love interest to a time deity. Now that she’s watched ages pass before her eyes, she may no longer be satisfied with being the attractive girl at school. With her newfound position, it’s unclear if she received any particular skills, but we’d expect the program to address this issue at some point.
Expect Evil Morty to make a reappearance in Season 5 as well. Season 3 was the last time he was seen, but in the Season 5 finale, he made an impressive comeback when he broke free of the central finite curve. Significant as it is, it’s unlikely that the show will ignore it. So one thing is for certain: Evil Morty will return.

For now, we can only hope that future episodes of Rick and Morty are more like “Mortyplicity” than “Rickdependence Spray,” which is still the worst episode of the show to date.
The season five finale undoubtedly hinted to this possibility. Season finales of Rick and Morty are known for pushing the boundaries of canon, but no episode of this show has ever done so in such an overtly serialized way as it did at the end of season five.
As well as returning Evil Morty, ‘Rickmurai Jack’ acknowledged that his wife and daughter had been killed by another Rick, and hence the existence of another Rick. Even if this was hinted at in a season-three flashback, it’s not unreasonable to expect the program to start revealing more canon in the future.
