Archie Andrews’ (KJ Apa) & Betty Cooper’s (Lili Reinhart) relationship on Riverdale was an emotional journey, to say the least.
Archie returns home from the military after a seven-year break, while Betty takes a personal leave from her work as an FBI agent. The reconciliation between Archie and Betty is less than sweet and short-lived.
They promise to keep their relationship a secret shortly after hooking up, at least until the Season 5 finale, when Barchie becomes a thing. Teasers now suggest that Archie and Betty are expecting. Is Betty Cooper truly pregnant in Riverdale Season 6?

Is Betty Pregnant in Season 6 of Riverdale?
Betty is not Pregnant. And Archie is disappointed. Betty tells him that it will happen at some point, and that “the universe simply wants us to stop the terrible ones first.” Sure, so how many bad guys do you have to stop, given Riverdale’s almost infinite supply?
Betty had been suspected of having a bun in the oven in the past. When the show returned for Season 5 with a very pregnant Lili Reinhart, viewers’ predictions were debunked. After Betty was discovered with a baby bump in “Welcome to Rivervale,” the Season 6 debut implied that the two were finally ready to raise a family.
However, Barchie’s love story does not come without some old flames being extinguished. Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa hinted at what’s in store for Betty and Archie in Season 6 in an interview with TV Line.
“I will say that Betty and Veronica will have a discussion about Betty and Archie in an upcoming episode, and Archie and Reggie will have a discussion about Reggie and Veronica in a season premiere. So those are arriving, despite the fact that they are in the middle of their life. But we have such discussions and keep track of them,” he said.

Riverdale Season 6 Plotline: Review
The five-episode crossover arc “Rivervale” kicked off the sixth season. This story continued up precisely where season 5 left off, with Archie and Betty rekindling their romance just before a bomb was ready to explode under Archie’s bed.
However, the bomb did not appear to burst, and the pair awoke in Rivervale, a much worse variant of the show’s set where ghosts, demons, witches, and curses are the norm, causing the gang to try to return to their own realm.
The second half of Riverdale season 6 brought us back to the old town with vigour, and now that Hiram Lodge has been expelled, the story returns to that fatal explosion and follows the characters as they deal with the aftereffects of their stay in Rivervale. Things in Riverdale are never straightforward, thus new things emerge rapidly… at least Barchie and Veronica are now in a relationship!
