What To Expect From Hellbound’s Second Season.
In the last few minutes of the first season, the ashes and bones of Park Jung Ja came together and brought the woman back to life. This was a shocking discovery that will change the world forever.
Multiple eyewitnesses saw what happened when Song So Hyun’s baby, who was supposed to die because of a decree, lived after his parents gave their lives to save him. This destroyed the New Truth doctrine.
Even more, the New Truth will be called into question when the people who died because of the decrees start to come back to life like Park Jung Ja. But if this means that the former leader of New Truth, Jung Jin Soo, will come back to life, will he use his new life to spread a new gospel?
With the New Truth and Arrowhead persuading most people that all those who were given decrees are sinners and that sinners will be brought back from hell, society is likely to fall apart as the world tries to figure out what “God” is doing.
When Can We Expect To Find Season 2 Of Hellbound On Netflix?
Now that the show has been officially picked up for another season, we can start to guess when it will come back.
The director and creator of the series, Yeon Sang Oh, will be working on several projects for Netflix in the next year, including a remake of Parasyte and a new zombie horror series. This means that filming might not start until the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024.
The movie Hellbound was filmed from September 17, 2020, to January 18, 2021. So, it took just over fourteen months from the start of filming until the Netflix release date. Using fourteen months as a rough estimate, this means that we won’t be able to watch Hellbound season 2 on Netflix for a long time.
