Kanye West‘s third part of his Drinks Champs interview is causing even more trouble.
The 45-year-old fashion mogul and rapper, who now goes by Ye, talked with hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN for almost 45 minutes about many things, including his theories about George Floyd’s death, how Jews control media and entertainment, Drake’s success in hip-hop, and much more.
Ye recently went to the premiere of Candace Owens’s new film, The Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd and the Rise of BLM. He said that Floyd’s death was caused by fentanyl and not by suffocation from a police officer’s knee.
“I saw the film about George Floyd that Candace Owens made. One of the things his two roommates said was that they wanted a tall guy like me, and the day he died, he prayed for eight minutes, the rapper said. “They gave him the fentanyl shot. If you look, the man’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that.”
Derek Chauvin, a former Minneapolis police officer, was charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter in May 2020. This was because he kneeled on Floyd’s neck, which caused the man to die.
Ye also said that Floyd looked like the late designer Virgil Abloh. He said, “This white company called Louis Vuitton is now making statues of him as a martyr, and we don’t even know why he died—they just said it was cancer.”
The Drink Champs interview comes after a whirlwind of trouble for Ye in recent weeks. He was kicked off Twitter and Instagram for a series of anti-Semitic posts, and his “White Lives Matter” shirt at Paris Fashion Week caused a lot of backlashes.
He said in another part of the long conversation that he is not anti-Semitic because he is also Jewish as the “blood of Christ.” He also said that Jews controlled the media and entertainment, and he said that “Jewish Zionists” were to blame for the scandalous articles about his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson.
He said, “Jews have always owned the Black voice.” “Either we all wear a Ralph Lauren shirt, or we’re all signed to a Jewish record label, or we’re all signed to a Jewish basketball team, or we make a movie for a Jewish company like Disney. I respect what the Jews have done and how they have united their people.”
The rapper also said that after his “Death Con 3” tweet, the So-Fi Stadium in Los Angeles canceled four concerts he had planned there.
He said, “They’ve been f—ing with me for too long.” “They made the crazy story public.” He also said, “Paparazzi taking pictures of you won’t make you any money. You’re used to the Jewish media screwing you over.”
Ye also talked about Drake’s successful hip-hop career, calling the Canadian MC “the best rapper of all time.” “I’m not sorry about it,” said the rapper, who had been fighting with Drizzy before.
