The wedding took place in Phoenix, Arizona, with notable guests including Young’s label mate Tone Loc and Freedom Williams from C+C Music Factory, along with close friends and family.

During the ceremony, Jordan, who runs Master Peace Church in Georgia with his wife Kristen, shared a heartfelt message, emphasizing the importance of faith in marriage.

He injected humor into the proceedings with a lighthearted invitation for objections, playfully stating, “Please feel free to leave now, this is how we do it.”

Young MC rose to fame with his 1989 hit “Bust A Move,” featured on his debut album “Stone Cold Rhymin’.” The song peaked at number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, remaining in the top 40 for 20 weeks and on the charts for a total of 39 weeks. Additionally, “Bust A Move” earned Young MC the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance in 1990.
