Jeff Bezos, who started Amazon, is one of the wealthiest people in the world. In a statement that Amazon put out earlier in 2021, Bezos also said that he would step down as CEO of the company.
In the statement, it was made clear that Bezos will step down as CEO in the third quarter of 2021 and become the company’s executive chairman.

All About Jeff Bezos’s Wife MacKenzie Scott
Jeff Bezos, who went to Princeton, began Amazon in 1993 in his garage. Before he started working at Amazon, Bezos met his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott (Tuttle), in 1992. In 1993, they got married and moved to Seattle, where Amazon was founded.
In 2019, after being apart for a long time, Bezos and MacKenzie announced that they were getting a divorce. Bezos is dating news anchor Lauren Sánchez at the moment.
Everything about Jeff Bezos’s kids
Jeff Bezos and MacKenzie Scott have three boys and one girl as children. The couple got their daughter from China, where she was born. Bezos likes to keep his children’s names private, but reports say that his 20-year-old son’s name is Preston Bezos.
Preston is the oldest child of the couple who is no longer together. He went to the same college as Bezos, Princeton. From what I’ve heard, Preston likes to travel and eat Mexican food.
Bezos and MacKenzie now have equal rights to their children. When asked in an interview what advice he would give his kids, Bezos said, “Be proud of what you’ve done, not what you’re good at. You have to figure out what you really like. And it will bring you a lot of happiness.”
Bezos’s four kids are all set to get some of his huge wealth in the future. Jeff kept 75% of Amazon’s shares after he and his ex-wife got a divorce, but MacKenzie got 25% of the shares. Bezos also gave MacKenzie 4% of his company.
