The fabled hero has passed away! Liden Films has announced April 2023 release date for Season 1. The tv anime of Subaruichi’s The Legendary Hero is Dead is listed in the Manga ONE app by Shogakukan. It’s “Ysha ga Shinda!” In the spring of April 2023, the manga Murabito no Ore ga Hotta Otoshiana ni Yuusha ga Ochita Kekka will make its debut.

In the village of Cheza, Touka is just your typical (somewhat perverse) farmer. The real hero, Sion, is out fighting demons who threaten to invade the earth as he daydreams about becoming a hero and getting the girl! Touka accidentally kills the protagonist, though, one day. Who will now save the world now that the Legendary Hero is dead? Touka immediately buries Sion’s body to conceal the evidence, but when he awakens the following morning, he realizes he is not in his own body.
The manga was first published by Subaruichi in December 2014 and ran through December 2020 in Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday webcomic magazine. In March 2021, Shogakukan released the manga’s 20th and last collected book volume in Japan. In May, the spinoff Ysha ga Shinda! Kami no Kun-hen) debuted.
