Julia Stiles Secretly Welcomed Third Baby With Husband
The 43-year-old performer has recently disclosed that she had given birth to her child a few months prior. She remarked, “I’m kind of like a bundle of emotions because I went into directing my first movie and I have a five-month-old baby.”
With Cook’s two sons, two-year-old Arlo, and six-year-old Strummer, Stiles is now a mother of three.
In an interview with the New York Times, she revealed that she concealed the identity of her third kid while directing her debut film, Wish You Were Here. She said, “I didn’t really talk about it,” acknowledging that she never made her pregnancy publicly known.
The 10 Things I Hate About You actress did, however, continue to say that she is content to be a parent once more before talking about the career advantages parenting has given her over the years.
She remarked, “I think that actually being a mom is really great training for being a director. You have to think 10 steps ahead but also be in the present moment. You have to be good at time management. You have to be sensitive to people’s needs and guide them, but also hold a boundary.”
She continued by talking about how her schedule has been hectic lately with being a mother and a first-time director. She remarked, “I am running on fumes in terms of sleep. But I feel more energized than I ever have.”
In 2017, while Stiles was expecting her first kid, she got married for the first time. She announced on Instagram in January 2022 that she and Cook had welcomed their second child.
