Not only was he an academic, but he was also a prolific novelist, having written six books that were read by people all over the world. His most well-known work, “Is That Really You, God?” has been rendered into more than 150 other tongues, making it possible for people from every region of the world to read it.
In addition to his contributions to the world of literature, Loren Cunningham was instrumental in the establishment of the University of the Nations (UofN) and served as the institution’s first worldwide chancellor.
Since its inception in 1978, the University of Nebraska has undergone significant expansion, resulting in the addition of approximately 600 new classes and seminars to its roster of available academic opportunities.
The fact that these educational opportunities are made available at over 800 venues and campuses spread over 163 nations reflects Loren’s commitment to the advancement of education and empowerment on a worldwide scale.
