The Kentucky State Police say a 7-year-old boy accidentally shöt and kílled a 5-year-old boy on June 19, 2023, Monday. At 5:30 p.m., police were called to a Jackson County home where a child had been shöt. They tried to save the child, but it was too late. Phil Pendleton Tweeted about the news.

“Foul play is not suspected,” said the police statement. A Pew Research study of CDC data found that gùns kill more children and teens in the U.S. than anything else. The number of gùn deaths has gone up by 50% in just two years.
