Heidi Blair Pratt was born in Colorado on September 15, 1986. Pratt Montag is the daughter of Darlene Montag and Bill Montag. Her mother married Tim Egelhoff, and for 21 years they ran The Timberline restaurant. Holly, her older sister, is her only sibling.
She moved to California after graduating from high school and spent one semester at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She became friends with Lauren Conrad, a cast member of the television show ‘Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.’
