In 2011, Kuzmina decided to pursue both acting and comedy. She relocated to Los Angeles and participated in acting training at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.
Following Passion Pit and Demi Lovato, her first video appearance outside of Russia was in a song video for David Hallyday. She made her film debut in the Rodrigo Prieto-helmed short film Likeness, which also stars Elle Fanning.
She then secured roles on television dramas like True Blood, New Girl, Castle, The Comeback, and Lady Dynamite. She has also acted in feature films such as Fading Gigolo, opposite John Turturro; Rock the Kasbah, opposite Bill Murray; Dirty Grandpa, opposite Zac Efron; Bad Moms, opposite Mila Kunis; Isn’t It Romantic, opposite Rebel Wilson; and The Gentlemen, starring Michelle Dockery. She co-starred with Dominic Cooper in the 2020 television miniseries Spy City.
In 2023, she starred in Bruce Willis’ final film, Assassin, as well as Guy Ritchie’s Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre. Kuzmina is also a stand-up comedian who frequently performs at The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and The Improv.
She has also developed her own comic routines and web series, including Model Turned Comedian, The Russian Bride, and How To Be A Supermodel.
Personal Life and Philanthropy
Kuzmina is married to Bill Block, a film producer and Miramax’s CEO. They married on March 30, 2010, and have two children together. Kuzmina is also the stepmother of Block’s three children from his previous marriage. The family lives in Beverly Hills, California.
Kuzmina also supports a variety of charity causes and organizations. She is an ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), having visited refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon. She also supports the Environmental Media Association (EMA), the Humane Society, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
