Edge immediately formed a tag team with his childhood friend Christian, and the combination went on to become one of WWE’s most successful and entertaining teams.

They won the World Tag Team Championship seven times and were part of some of the most famous Attitude Era fights, including the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs battles. Edge and Christian were also comic, frequently criticizing their opponents and putting on entertaining performances.

Edge split from Christian in 2001 to pursue a solo career. He won the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in 1999 and went on to win it four more times. He also held the US Championship, the World Heavyweight Championship, and the WWE Championship four times.
