6IX9INE Early Life
On the eighth of May in the year 1996, Daniel Hernandez was born in the city of New York.
Hernandez was born in the neighborhood of Bushwick, in the city of Brooklyn, to a Puerto Rican father and a Mexican mother. His own parents took care of him until he turned 13 years old, and he and his brother spent their childhoods together.

He was sentenced to three years of supervision and did not have to register as an s*x offender if he did not post s*xually explicit photographs online and completed his GED. He eventually failed his GED exam. He was charged in July 2018 on an arrest warrant connected to an incident in which he allegedly choked someone at a Houston mall.
He was detained in 2018 on charges of guns, drugs, and racketeering. He admitted guilt against a group of Nine Trey Bloods gang members to avoid a possible 47-year prison sentence. In September 2019, he appeared over several days. He stated that the Nine Trey Bloods Gang permitted him to act as if he was a member as long as he provided financial support. He also claimed that he began receiving an average of $60,000 per month from YouTube royalties and live performance fees after the debut of the song “Gummo.”
As part of an agreement with government prosecutors, he filed a guilty plea in December 2019. Because of his cooperation, the judge only sentenced Tekashi to 13 months in prison. The defendants against whom he testified face life in prison.
Due to the COVID-19 virus, which was spreading quickly across the jail system, he requested an early release on March 22, 2020. He was released on April 2 when the administration made no objections. He was supposed to be released in August of 2020.
