Goldeneye 007 is coming to the Xbox Game Pass: Since it came out in 1997, GoldenEye 007 has been a beloved classic in the hearts and minds of millions and millions of fans all over the world. Today, we’re excited to tell you that a new generation of players will soon be able to play the game that helped define the stealth shooter genre.

The gameplay has been painstakingly reconstructed to match the original’s action and thrill, while also introducing new features more suitable for the current era of gaming.
Players will assume control of James Bond as he undertakes a global espionage mission to prevent the publication of the potentially disastrous GoldenEye satellite. In this version of the game, the venerable story mode, transforming difficulty levels, and havoc-causing cheats will all return.
Additionally, the legendary split-screen local multiplayer mode will return, allowing up to four players to participate in a simultaneous fight of wits and skill on a single couch.
The original experience has been enhanced with enhanced control options (including support for two analogue sticks), native 16:9 resolution up to 4K Ultra HD (where available), a constant refresh rate, and a full complement of unlockable achievements.
GoldenEye 007 will be available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. In addition, players who already own a digital copy of Rare Replay, a collection of 30 classic video games made by the same award-winning firm that was responsible for the original release of GoldenEye 007, will be able to download and play GoldenEye 007 for free.
