Gotham Knights are coming out in less than a week, and recently, the PC version’s minimum system requirements were added to the game’s Steam page. They look more demanding than we would have thought.

Steam says that players will need an Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti or an AMD Radeon RX 590 along with an Intel Core i5-9600 or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 to run the game at 60 frames per second with a 1080p resolution and the Low setting.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that a weaker system couldn’t run the game, but to keep the frame rate at its highest, you will need to switch to 30fps or run the game at a lower resolution.

The game also needs 8 GB of RAM and 45 GB of free space on your hard drive or SSD. So far, the game’s developer hasn’t shared the recommended system requirements, but it would be interesting to know how much power the game needs to run at 60 frames per second on the highest setting and 4K resolution.

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-9600K (3.7 GHz) OR AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (3.60 GHz)
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti OR AMD Radeon RX 590
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 45 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: 1080p / 60fps / Low Quality Settings

Even though we can’t tell much from the system requirements alone, the fact that the game needs a powerful computer to run could make fans worry about how well Gotham Knights will work on PC. This is especially true after Batman: Arkham Knight, which was ruined for PC players by a bad port.

Even though Gotham Knights is not being made by the same studio as Arkham Knight, PC fans probably don’t want the same level of optimization again.

Even though Gotham Knights looks great in the trailers, the most recent gameplay videos show that the game’s graphics have gotten a lot worse since the first ones. Still, the game’s minimum system requirements might reassure fans that the graphics will still be good. After all, the PC version of the game is likely to have better graphics than the other versions.

Still, because the game uses a Denuvo lock, high-end PCs won’t be able to run it at high frame rates.
