TMNT: Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles now has an official trailer.

Fans of the film have been eager for Netflix to release more of it. Time travel antics have been hinted to, and they do play a role in this film. The teaser features a humorous scene in which a futuristic Casey Jones contacts his friends to enlist their help.

Master Leonardo is engaged in a fight against the Krang, and it’s not going well. Aliens pose a real danger of annihilating humanity and the planet. Leonardo is hardly the seasoned leader of the future.

Leo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo need to work together to prevent the Krang from enslaving humanity and destroying the world as we know it. Kids who enjoyed the fast pace of Rise will find even more to enjoy here. This trailer features some impressive action sequences.

Meanwhile, executive producer Ant Ward discussed the upcoming Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles project with Comicbook.com.

“Yeah, and watching these characters grow in surprising ways.” Ward has already shared this information with us. “Finally, with regards to the film, you may need to wait and see what happens next. But it’s going to be a bit of both, you know? If you’re a fan of the program and you’re watching it, I think you’ll enjoy the movie quite a bit. However, even for those who aren’t familiar with the show, this will be a thrilling scene on its own.”
