Sumner Stroh, a 23-year-old Instagram model and influencer went viral this week after she released a TikTok about her year-long affair with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.
The video, which has received 21 million views, was posted five days after Victoria’s Secret model and Levine’s wife of eight years, Behati Prinsloo, revealed the pregnancy of their third child. (Levine and Prinsloo have two children, Gio Grace, 4, and Dusty Rose, 5).
Stroh said in it that she “was having an affair with a man who is married to Victoria’s Secret model” and that she felt “manipulated,” adding, “At the time, you know, I was young, ignorant, and, quite simply, I feel exploited.” I wasn’t as involved in the scene as I am now. So I was susceptible to manipulation.”

Stroh claims Levine re-entered her life months after they’d stopped the romance with a June 1 Instagram DM in which he expressed interest in naming his third child “Sumner.” A Stroh spokesperson shared a screen recording of the conversations with Insider, confirming that they were sent from Levine’s account to Stroh’s.

She worked as a media manager for the online dating app Bumble and as an influencer for the fast-fashion brand Boohoo while she was a student. Her sister, Baylen Stroh, works as the marketing manager for an accessories firm.
Strung by Stroh was inspired by “Baylen’s love of crafting jewelry with her grandma and small sister every summer growing up,” according to the company’s “about us” page. Stroh is also represented by the talent management firm Verge Agency.
In a 2020 YouTube video, the sisters said their relationship has “highs and deep lows.” Stroh talked about trying to quit vaping with Nicorette in the same video, calling her behavior “so ratchet.”
Stroh released a video from Maroon 5’s Del Valle, Texas, tour event in September 2021, showing herself barely feet from the stage.

On September 20, Levine denied the romance with Stroh in a statement to TMZ and on his Instagram story, saying he “stepped the line.”
I exercised lousy judgment in flirty conversations with anyone other than my wife. “While I did not have an affair, I did cross the line during a regretful era in my life,” he said. “In some cases, it became inappropriate. “I’ve addressed it and taken proactive steps to address it with my family.”
“All I care about in this world is my wife and my family,” Levine continued. “To be so foolish and stupid as to put the only thing that truly matters to me in danger was the biggest mistake I could ever make.” I’ll never do that again. I accept all responsibility. We will get through it, and we shall do so together.”

Stroh responded to a comment suggesting she was presenting herself as a victim in the next video by saying she was “embarrassed” and “disgusted” with herself, telling viewers she suspected the couple had separated but were keeping the news quiet “to escape the negative press.”
“I simply came forward to bury whatever story the tabloid had,” she explained, adding that she was “under the notion” that Levine and Prinsloo’s marriage was over. “I thought they were keeping it hidden to avoid the unfavorable press,” she explained. “I just assumed that’s how it was with celebs of that kind.” That’s why I feel taken advantage of – he knew I believed everything he said.” Stroh stated that she stopped things when she realized the two couldn’t be separated.
“In retrospect, I wish I had questioned things more,” Stroh said. “I wish I weren’t so naive, but being naive isn’t a justification for what I did or my role in this.”
Stroh’s representative previously told Insider, “The affair took place from the summer of 2021 until recently,” but declined to disclose further.
Levine’s representative did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
