Ken Block was driving a snowmobile up a steep slope when it flipped over and landed on top of him. On the spot in Wasatch County, Utah, the 55-year-old was said to be dead. Block was riding his snowmobile with a group, but he was alone when the accident happened.

The crash happened around 2 p.m. in the area. The 911 centre in Wasatch County got a call about a snowmobile accident in the Mill Hollow area. The BBC says that search and rescue and law enforcement teams quickly got to the scene of the accident.

In a Facebook post, the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office also said, “He was announced dead at the scene of the accident from injuries he got in it.”

Ken Block’s Last Instagram Post

Block had been having a good time while on vacation at his ranch in Utah. Just a few days before the accident, Ken posted pictures of his snowmobiles, such as Ski-doos, Can-am Mavericks, and a Defender, on Instagram.

He wrote in the caption, “This is how some mornings at my ranch in Utah look this time of year: freshly covered with snow.”

The last picture the world-famous athlete shared with the public was of snow-covered ski-doos with the caption, “Hell yeah!”

The picture was shared on Instagram early on Monday, January 2, 2023, from his chalet. It was Ken Block’s last post before the terrible accident, which was sad.
