Sherlett Myers Obituary: How She Pass Away?

Lawre “Sherlett” Myers, 56, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died at home on Thursday, August 17, 2023. She was born in Novato, California on October 21, 1966. Above all, Sherlett was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend who cherished spending time with her family.

She was a very competitive board game opponent, a daring biker and hiker, and a true bibliophile who read more books in a week than most people read in a year. She was known to many as “Mrs Myers,” an 18-year-old devoted educator.

For 15 years, she was a dedicated and compassionate teacher, and for three years, she was the school librarian. She loved reading, but she loved people much more. Her bright attitude and contagious laugh spread joy and warmth wherever she went, and as she moved from the classroom to the library, she believed that every student at the school was now “her student” to celebrate and empower.
