Seth Rollins’ back issue was revealed on RAW this past Monday, and it was something Shinsuke Nakamura told him last week. Is Rollins’ back injury real?

Last week on RAW, Nakamura had a heated exchange with Rollins, with the Japanese superstar coming out on top. He surprised the World Heavyweight Champion by whispering something to him before hitting the Kinshasa.

On this week’s RAW, Nakamura revealed that he is aware of Rollins’ back ailment and then delivered one of his best promos in WWE. In an interview, the Visionary subsequently admitted the injury, stating that he has been coping with it for four years.

Rollins’ back ailment is “semi-real,” according to Ringside News’ Steve Carrier, and his back is “banged up.” However, it is not as severe as it was depicted on television, and it is not serious.

At Payback, Seth Rollins will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura. Rollins and Nakamura will also square off on RAW in Memphis next week.

Seth Rollins Talks About His Back Problem

Over the last two years, Seth Rollins has been WWE’s workhorse. He’s been tough for the majority of his career, with the exception of a knee ailment that necessitated surgery while he was WWE Champion in 2015.

Rollins discussed his back condition and how it affects his career in a backstage interview on RAW.

“I do have 2 fractures in my lumbar spine,” Rollins said. “I have been living with that injury for over four years and it does not get better by itself. As a matter of fact, it gets worse. The truth is I don’t know what the endgame is, I don’t know how much longer I am going to be able to do this at the level I’m currently running at.”

Since May 27, when he defeated Finn Balor at Night of Champions, Seth Rollins has held the World Heavyweight Championship. Shinsuke Nakamura, on the other hand, has yet to win his first global title since joining WWE in 2016.
