Robert Irwin And Rorie Buckey Broke Up
After more than a year together, the ex-couple announced their split in a joint statement that was posted on Irwin’s Instagram story.
The statement read “We wanted to share that we have decided to go our separate ways but profoundly appreciate all of the time spent together and wish one another all the very best into the future.”
They added further, “We wish to express the gratitude and respect we have for one another as we continue our journeys on different paths.”
Buckey, 19, and Robert Irwin, 20, concluded their statement by saying they “really appreciate your respect and privacy at this time” and that they will not be commenting further on the breakup.
In July 2023, Heath Ledger’s niece Buckey and wildlife photographer Robert Irwin, the late “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin’s son, made their red carpet debut at the Sydney premiere of “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One.”
During that period, rumors circulated that they had been dating since 2022, but they had not made their relationship official.
After being spotted together on a date in Queensland, they were initially connected in November 2022. A few weeks later, on December 20, 2022, Robert Irwin’s birthday, they were once more captured in pictures at the Australia Zoo. Buckey was in the stands watching Robert Irwin and his mother Terri put on a show.
Several social media posts by his sister Bindi included references to Buckey. Bindi Irwin shared a picture with her mother, younger brother, husband Chandler Powell, and their daughter Grace on Instagram in October 2023. In the caption, she praised Buckey, her brother’s “gorgeous girlfriend,” as well.
