Rihanna hasn’t said what her 4-month-old son with A$AP Rocky is called yet, but she may have just given us a hint.
People who want to hear new music from the Bad Gal will be happy to hear that she was seen at a Hollywood recording studio on Saturday. She was wearing a vintage Clench football jersey that would be perfect for a Super Bowl halftime show.
She wore the sporty piece with $292 distressed Diesel jeans, a $7,400 Balenciaga bag that sparkled like a diamond, and, most interestingly, a long silver necklace with a sparkling “D” pendant.
“I wonder what the letter D on her chain means? “What’s the baby’s name?!” one excited fan tweeted.
“Isn’t that Drake? lol,” said someone else, making a joke about the “One Dance” rapper’s famous on-and-off relationship with Rihanna, which lasted for years.
Fans who want to know what the “Where Have You Been” singer’s child is called will be disappointed to learn that the accessory has a simple name: Rihanna wore a vintage Dior logo chain with a multi-strand choker and a studded trouser chain from the same fashion house.
Whether the founder of Fenty Beauty chose the jewelry because she liked it or for a deeper reason, she made a statement with the bold outfits she wore while she was pregnant with her and Rocky’s first child.
Rihanna told Vogue earlier this year, “When I found out I was pregnant, I told myself there was no way I was going to shop in the maternity section.” “I’m sorry, but getting dressed up is too much fun. Even though my body is changing, I won’t let that part go away.”
The pop star went on to say, “I hope we were able to change what pregnant women are allowed to wear. Right now, my body is doing amazing things, and I’m not going to be embarrassed by that. This time should make you feel like a party. So why should you keep your pregnancy a secret?”
She seems fine with keeping the name of her baby a secret for a little while longer, though.
