Chrissy Teigen & John Legend Expecting a Baby in 2022 After 2020 Miscarriage: See Her Baby Bump Photos

Nearly two years after losing their first pregnancy, Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend are expecting again.

Nearly two years after losing their first pregnancy, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting another child.

Teigen shared two images of her growing baby bump on Instagram on Wednesday before making the announcement. In a post that follows her miscarriage in 2020, she stated that happiness had “filled our home and hearts again.”

The 36-year-old model and cookbook author, who is married to Legend and has two children, Miles and Luna, added, “We have another on the way.” She talked about her struggle with infertility and how she was too afraid to announce her pregnancy.

Every time I go in for an appointment, I tell myself, “Okay, if it’s healthy today, I’ll announce,” but then I hear a heartbeat and decide I’m still too anxious. I don’t think I’ll ever leave a checkup feeling more excited than nervous, but thus far, everything is wonderful and flawless, and I’m full of hope.

Miles age 4, and Luna age 6, are the already-existing children of Teigen and Legend.

In 2020, after both sharing the devastating news that their son, Jack, died at 20 weeks of her pregnancy, the pair wrote a heartbreaking message. Prior to the miscarriage, she was hospitalized due to heavy bleeding.

She posed for a selfie video while wearing a black jacket and black leggings, highlighting the bulge.

In the same post, Teigen detailed how she was given a partial placental abruption diagnosis by medical professionals. She invited others to share their experiences at the moment and asked them to “please be kind to those pouring their hearts out.”

Just one month after sharing the couple’s pregnancy announcement, Teigen tragically miscarried in September 2020. It now appears that their children will be getting a new sibling in the near future.

Greetings to the delighted couple!
