He has been a member of WWE since 2009, with the exception of a year between 2021 and 2022 when he was unceremoniously let off. Rotunda triumphantly returned to WWE last September with a suspenseful story that included cryptic vignettes that helped raise broadcast viewership.
Rotunda came from a wrestling family. His father, Mike, rose to notoriety in the WWE as Irwin R. Schyster and in other promotions as Michael Wallstreet or under his given name.
Rotunda’s uncle, Barry Windham, was a former wrestler who was a member of the renowned Four Horsemen stable and was one of the most well-known athletes of the 1980s and early 1990s. Rotunda’s brother, Taylor, is a WWE wrestler who used to go by the ring name Bo Dallas.
