Gosling, 43, got up from his place in the crowd and went on stage to join the song’s producer, Mark Ronson, and a huge group of dancers wearing black suits and cowboy hats.
During another part of the show, he gave the mic to his co-stars Barbie, Margot Robbie, and America Ferrera, as well as the director, Greta Gerwig. His fellow Kens, Ncuti Gatwa, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and Scott Evans then joined him on stage.
Slash was playing a guitar solo while all the Ken stars and backup dancers danced in a line. Suddenly, our gay Grace and Frankie star Scott Evans (aka “Stereotypical Ken”) leaned in for a kiss with Gosling.
He put one right on Gosling’s cheek while the Oscar nominee kept singing. That’s what we mean when we say “gay acceptance.”
