“It’s a road that I never thought I would be going down. I saw myself in the cookie-cutter relationship and creating a family, but now that the universe has other plans for me, I’m so grateful this was an option.”
Despite her original desire for a more traditional family structure, she is now glad for the alternative path that life has offered. After a difficult breakup with ex-fiancé Randall Emmett in October 2021 (who had a daughter, Ocean, with Lala), she expressed a desire for more children.
The intrauterine insemination (IUI) method involves inserting specially prepared sperm straight into the uterus, which increases the likelihood of conception. Lala Kent, who enjoyed being pregnant with her daughter Ocean, continued:
“I was open to anything, but because I didn’t have a problem getting pregnant the first time with my daughter Ocean, for me, I was open to the IUI route given how much I loved being pregnant and wanted to experience that again. There was nothing off the table.”

Is Lala Kent Currently Married?
Lala Kent is not married right now. She dated and was engaged to Randell Emmett for a long time. They met in 2015, while Lala worked at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant SUR and Randell was a film producer.

During the fourth season of Vanderpump Rules, Lala discussed their relationship without revealing Randell’s identity, until he divorced actress Ambyr Childers in December 2017. Randell proposed to Lala just over a year later.
Randell returned to Vanderpump Rules in season 8, which premiered in January 2020, after a long absence from the show. In September 2020, the couple excitedly revealed that they were expecting their first child.
Their daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett, was born in March 2021. However, Lala and Randell ended their three-year engagement in October 2021. Lala later accused Randell of cheating on her several times and spoke about it on Watch What Happens Live in January 2022.
