About When Hope Calls

As the title suggests, When Hope Calls revolves around the lives of two sisters, Lillian (Morgan Kohan) and Grace (Jocelyn Hudon), who are reunited as adults after being separated as children following the death of their parents. After the tragedy, both children were placed in an orphanage, but only Lillian was adopted. When Lillian finally locates her sister after years of searching, the two return to Lillian’s adopted family’s home in Brookfield with the intention of establishing their own orphanage.

When Hope Calls Season 2 Cast

Morgan Kohan and RJ Hatanaka, who play the two sisters, Lillian Walsh and Gabriel Kinslow, respectively, are featured in the series’ main cast as Lillian Walsh and Gabriel Kinslow. Lori Laughlin portrays Abigail Stanton, and her co-star Daniel Lissing from the television series “When Calls the Heart” has also joined her in this series. Cody, Abigail’s son, will be played by Carter Ryan in this production. LuxtonHandspiker has also joined the cast of the show for season 2.

Even though we don’t know what will happen in the upcoming season of When Hope Calls, we do know that the two-part season premiere will see the return of some familiar faces on the show. When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas,” the two-hour season 2 premiere, the town of Brookfield amps up its holiday charm in order to compete for the title of Harper’s Bazaar magazine’s No. 1 Country Christmas Town, as seen in the trailer below. While they try to put on the appearance of a festive Christmas community for the magazine’s photojournalist, things are not quite as festive behind the scenes as they appear on the outside. In the midst of it all, a well-known face makes an appearance in town. Visiting Abigail (Lori Loughlin) and her son Cody (Carter Ryan), Abigail and Cody are on their way to Lillian’s orphanage to pick up a troubled boy.

The following year, as the photojournalist nears the end of his stay in Brookfield, Lillian, and the orphans, along with Gabriel (Ryan-James Hatanaka), are running out of options for restoring the troubled boy’s faith in the future. Just when it appears that all is lost, a secret Santa appears to brighten everyone’s holiday season. Meanwhile, Abigail engages in a profound conversation with a long-lost friend from her childhood.

The new season of When Hope Calls will premiere on GAC Family and will run for one season. The network, which was previously known as Great American Country, underwent a rebranding in June.
