You can now find all nine episodes of the anime series ” Star Wars: Visions” in the Disney + streaming program. The short films from various leading anime studios in Japan deliver independent stories from the “Star Wars” universe. But do we get a second season? Can fans look forward to Season 2 and more adventures from the galaxy far, far away at Disney+?

In and of itself, nothing speaks against “Star Wars: Visions” Season 2. Lucasfilm could again commission some Japanese studios to contribute works to get a new season off the ground. Some short films from the first season, such as “The Ninth Jedi”, would even be predestined for a sequel to Studio Production IG (” Haikyu !! “).

“Star Wars: Visions” Season 2? Then It Goes On

Since the first season has just started and there is no official information about a second season, it would be a bit early to assume a start date for a potential season 2. But for fans of the first episode, “The Duel,” a novel is coming soon.

“Ronin: A Visions Novel” will be released on October 12, 2021, and is about the lone warrior from the first episode of the anime series. We learn that a former Sith is now roaming the galaxy and learning more about its backstory.

New Episodes? What Do The “Star Wars: Visions” Makers Say?

“I think we would love to do more Star makers: Visions, we have to evaluate the reactions and what the fans want. (My co-showrunner Kanako Shirasaki) and I may be a little biased; we love these short films, and we really think it’s a great setting for Star Wars.” Said James Waugh, Producer Of “Star Wars: Visions.

The filmmakers are interested in continuing the anime series with a second season. There would also be the possibility that one or the other short film would play a role in one of the upcoming “Star Wars” films or series. However, this is not planned for the foreseeable future, explain the filmmakers.

Should there be official information about “Star Wars: Visions” Season 2, you will, of course, receive it immediately here. The following “Star Wars” highlight in the Disney+ is “The Book of Boba Fett” with Temuera Morrison, who gave Boba his voice in the anime series.
