Ned Fulmer is no longer a member of the Try Guys, a popular YouTube comedy group. After photos of him kissing a coworker were posted on Reddit, he admitted to having “a consensual workplace relationship” with the coworker.

“Family should have always been my top priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship,” Fulmer, who became known as one of the internet’s “Wife Guys,” said on Tuesday.

The group also said that Fulmer was no longer working with the Try Guys. In a statement, they said, “After a thorough internal review, we don’t see a way for us to move forward together.” “We’re grateful for your help as we go through this change.”

The official Try Guys accounts also changed their profile pictures from cartoons of all the members to just the company logo. They stopped following Fulmer on Twitter and Instagram.

The news came a few hours after photos on Reddit were said to show Fulmer kissing his coworker Alexandria Herring in a New York City bar.

Fulmer, Eugene Lee Yang, Zach Kornfeld, and Keith Habersberger started the Try Guys while working as video producers for BuzzFeed in 2014. In 2019, they started their own channel under the name 2nd Try LLC, which stands for “creating an independent digital production company, pants optional.” (It’s important to know that BuzzFeed Inc. has an investment in 2nd Try LLC.)

With over 7.8 million subscribers to their independent platform, the foursome became known for their crazy “test drive” videos, which often feature members of their crew like editor YB Chang, video producer Herring, and podcast producer Miles Bonsignore, among others. Tens of millions of people have watched videos like “The Try Guys Cook Dumplings Without a Recipe” and “Keith Eats Everything at Taco Bell.”

On Monday, a Reddit user named hamilton390 posted screenshots of what they said were videos of Fulmer and Herring kissing in a bar in New York City’s East Village called Niagara.

“They weren’t even trying to be secret,” wrote hamilton390. “the whole time that they were kissing.” “Try Guys” was the most talked about thing on Twitter on Tuesday, according to the company.

Someone else on Reddit said they saw Fulmer and Herring at the same Harry Styles concert on September 1.

Fans on social media had noticed in the past few weeks that Fulmer wasn’t in the group’s most recent videos and that he wasn’t in the Try Guys theme song sequence.

Will Thayer, who is engaged to Herring, made his Instagram private after the post on Reddit. Since then, Fulmer and Herring have stopped each other from following them on social media.

Chang, who is in charge of making videos for the Try Guys, has also stopped following both of them and posted on her Instagram story that Fulmer is leaving. She said, “I know things are crazy right now, but I appreciate your help.” BuzzFeed News asked Herring, Chang, and Fulmer for their thoughts, but they did not respond. Also, members of the Try Guys didn’t respond to requests for comments.

Fulmer has been writing about his marriage for a long time. His wife, Ariel Fulmer, is a regular on the Try Guys channel. She has been in videos like “Try DIY With Ned & Ariel” and “Try Wives.” They also wrote a cookbook together called Date Night Cookbook and host a podcast called Baby Steps.
