Pop Mastermind Max Martin Leads The Initiative. Globally, Tiktok creators are provided with music ‘stems’ and invited to create their own versions of the brand-new song titled ‘red Lights’ composed by the prolific hitmakers.
A brand-new music service, dubbed Stem drop, will be launched exclusively with Tiktok and Samsung by Simon Cowell, Syco Entertainment, and international entertainment executive Tim Van Rongen.
Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, and Ali Payami are the prolific hit-making team joining Stemdrop for its launch. As An Incubator For New Talent, Artistry, And Creativity, Stemdrop Will Allow All Artists And Music Creators, From Anywhere In The World, The Chance To Collaborate With Some Of The Most Iconic Songwriting Talents Of All Time.
On Tiktok, there will also be a first-of-its-kind ‘Stemdrop mixer’ where creators of all levels can experiment with individual effects, harmony and melody to create and upload their own unique version.

A brand new song will be released exclusively on Tiktok on October 26 by Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, and Ali Payami. Upon the song’s release, the community will be able to access the ‘stems’ (the individual components of the song, such as drums, bass guitar, vocals, etc.) via the Stemdrop H5 page and create, record, and share their own unique versions.
Tiktok users, and creators, will also be able to gain a better understanding of the Stemdrop process through the Stemdrop Profile. This is because each of the songwriting teams, as well as Tiktok, Syco, Republic Records, and Universal Music Group, curate an updated version of the track every week. Ari Elkins, Astrid S, and Your Boy Moyo will serve as global ambassadors for Stemdrop and host daily content on the @stemdrop channel on Tiktok.
In celebration of the launch of Stemdrop and to spark excitement among the Tiktok community, Stem drop’s Official Channel (@stemdrop) will post videos.
