The term “busty Aunt Cass” refers to a photograph of Aunt Cass, a character from the animated film Big Hero 6, hunched over a kitchen counter. In late February 2021 and early March, the image gained popularity as an exploitable image macro, especially on Reddit.

Aunt Cass from the Disney animated film Big Hero 6 appeared in a photoshopped image with huge breasts and obvious cleavage on November 14th, 2016, published by DeviantArt member Rastifan with the title “Aunt Cass – Cleavage Version”. In four years, the photo received over 75,000 views and 1,000 favorites.

Reddit user /u/delactebles published a picture macro with the top text on December 4, 2020 “Mom: It’s not that hot in there. The Meals “together with the Busty Aunt Cass meme, which was posted to /r/memes and received over 47,400 upvotes in under three months. This is the first instance of the image macro that has been successful. The image was posted to /r/DankMemes on the same day by Redditor /u/CoconutRod along with another Go Too Horny Jail graphic, and it received over 44,500 upvotes before being taken down.

For those who are unaware, /u/Arjunsb01 sent a message to the Reddit community “DankMemes” on December 4th, 2020, with the title “Bonk,” which received over 16,000 upvotes in just three months.
YouTuber Jiang 989 published a video on January 31st, 2021, in which they demonstrate how quickly they can access the image of Busty Aunt Cass by simply putting “Aunt Cass” into Google. The video received over 1 million views in less than a month. In an effort to surpass the score, YouTuber Speedrun over 18 published a video on February 3rd. In a short amount of time, the video received over 111,000 views.
It took until the end of February 2021 for the image of Busty Aunt Cass to become a popular meme. An image macro depicting Busty Aunt Cass speaking to her son Hiro was posted on February 27 by Redditor /u/organic crystal meth to /r/DankMemes. This image is an alteration of an older image macro format that depicts Aunt Cass speaking to Hiro without any cleavage. Over the next several days, a number of new memes using the image were created as a result of the post, which in two days received over 76,800 upvotes.
A similar image macro that Reddit user /u/Thelazytimetraveller posted to /r/DankMemes on February 28th, for instance, received almost 82,300 upvotes in one day. On the same day, Redditor /u/MrickyHR posted a meme with the image on /r/DankMemes, which quickly received over 22,000 upvotes.
Users started submitting memes that made fun of the oversaturation and the horniness of /r/users DankMemes as endless memes continued to flood the subreddit, frequently using images of Cheers and the Go To Horny Jail meme.
A post by Redditor /u/AnthropomorphicMango to /r/ShittyMovieDetails on February 28th stated, “Aunt Cass’s blouse in Big Hero Six hides her cleavage. The animators didn’t belong in a horny jail, which is why “making jokes about the meme that received over 29,000 likes in just 16 hours.
PewDiePie discusses an Aunt Cass meme that was probably prompted by a scene from “Ralph Breaks the Internet.”
The meme that PewDiePie discovered is actually used in another Ralph Breaks, the Internet-themed Disney film. The title character, Ralph, runs into a pop-up in one scene in the film.
“Meet some sassy housewives,” they say.
