The Morning Show, which won an Emmy, came back earlier this year for a second season, which is about the coronavirus pandemic.

The drama shows how a morning news show works from the inside. Jennifer Aniston plays Alex Levy, the host of a popular US talk show, and Reese Witherspoon plays Bradley Jackson, a former field reporter.

The first season was rewritten to reflect the #MeToo movement, and the second season was changed to focus on the COVID-19 pandemic after production stopped six weeks into filming in March 2020. In the last episodes of the second season, Aniston’s character even gets COVID-19.

Now, we know for sure that the show will come back for a third season. In an interview with The New York Times, Aniston seemed to say that she would like a future season of The Morning Show to focus more on people who are in the news for scandals. Plot Details Of The Morning Show Season 3

We don’t know much about what will happen in season 3 of The Morning Show, but Jennifer Aniston recently talked about Alex’s personal life: “Aniston told Variety, “I think it’s time for Alex to find love and passion. She could let down her guard and be vulnerable by opening up her heart, which I don’t think she’s ever really done.”

She also said she’d like to know Alex better outside of the office. Besides her love life, she said she’d like to see her hanging out with friends, having a girls’ night, going grocery shopping, or just “getting out of her ivory tower a little bit.” We’re all for that!

Aniston has ideas about how her character should change, but she didn’t say anything about the season 3 theme.

“I can’t say much. It’s a great chance to shine a light on things that are very frustrating and make people worry about where we’re going as a society,” she told the magazine. “We try to shed some light on it and make some comments. It’s a deep well at this point.”

Even though Kerry Ehrin won’t be the showrunner for season 3, she did hint at what might happen before handing over the reins.

She told The Hollywood Reporter that between seasons 2 and 3, there might be a time jump instead of picking up where the second season left off.

“You could [jump into the future],” she said, not wanting to talk about the COVID-19 pandemic, which was how season 2 ended. “I think it’s going to have been done, done, done. You could go the other way. It’s a really cool little universe. You can really put it anywhere in time, and I think the challenge of the show is coming up with a big subject.”

Ehrin also told Deadline, “I definitely want to see more of Bradley and Laura. I feel like Alex has finally accepted who she is and faced her worst fears since the pilot. I want to see how the phoenix rises from the ashes for her and how she learns to live a full life and be present and loving.”

Ehrin also says that we may see more of Paola Lambruschini (Valerina Golino). Paola was the person who talked to Mitch before he died and brought the video back to the United States.
