Early Wednesday 9, August, 2023 morning, tragedy struck when gunshots rang out near 1403 Hendricks Ave. Paige Pringle and another woman were inside a white sport utility vehicle (SUV) when a gunman started fire about 1:43 a.m. Officers raced to the location after receiving reports of a shooting and a possible collision involving casualties. The current status of Paige Pringle funeral plans and obituary is unknown to the general public.

Authorities discovered Paige Pringle, aged 28 to 32, with several gunshot wounds inside the SUV when they arrived. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the spot. A second woman, between the ages of 50 and 55, was discovered with gunshot wounds beside the SUV. Despite being sent to a neighboring medical institution, she died as a result of her injuries.

 

According to Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Rudlaff, after being shot, the SUV’s driver commenced a rolling motion, which culminated in a collision with a passing train. According to the JSO inquiry, the motorist halted at a railroad crossing to enable a train to pass, only to be met with gunshots.

The incident caused the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, CSX, and East Coast Railway to work together to handle the matter holistically. Authorities are concentrating on accessing any accessible video surveillance footage in the area as they work feverishly to gather information.
