Lindsay Arnold and Sharna Burgess have temporarily left the dance floor behind after previously leaving everything on it.

The two Dancing With the Stars pros said that they will be leaving the competition to become mothers.

In her message on August 31, Lindsay said, “I wanted to let you all know that I have decided not to be a part of Dancing With the Stars this season. It was one of the hardest choices I had to make, but in the end, I went with what I thought was best for my family and myself.

With her husband Sam Cusick, Lindsay is a mother to 21-month-old Sage. Lindsay revealed that she has decided to forgo the season so that she and Sage won’t have to relocate to California while Sam remains in Utah for work. Lindsay revealed that she and Sam are attempting to grow their family in addition to having to live in different locations.

We tried every possible strategy to make it work, she wrote. But in the end, none of the choices felt right to me or like the best course of action for our lives at this time.

Despite leaving the show, Lindsay made careful to stress that it will always have a special place in her heart and that things may change in the future. None of this has anything to do with my passion for the program, since that will never change, and it also doesn’t imply that this is the end for me and DWTS, she said.

Sharna, who had her first child with Brian Austin Green in June, used her Instagram Stories to share similar information.

In her Instagram Stories on August 31, she stated, “I have made the incredibly hard decision not to do the season of Dancing With the Stars this year. “There was a list that was posted that said I would be a pro, and I won’t be,” the speaker said.

Although Sharna said she felt strong, in shape, and “so ready to dance,” the time commitment was what ultimately made her decide against it.

I exclusively breastfeed my child, she declared. “Along with that, I simply adore being a mother. Even if it was difficult, I decided against dancing because I also had a family and a newborn at home, and I might not get these moments back.”

Even though Sharna is withdrawing from the competition, she will still appear on the broadcast. You will see me, but it will simply be in a different way,” she subsequently added after teasing, “I will be there in some capacity.”
