Graduating high school and college students can receive a graduation gift from Krispy Kreme.
Krispy Kreme’s treat for graduates? Dozen original frosted donuts for free. To get their graduation gift, students must go to a participating Krispy Kreme on Wednesday, May 24, while supplies last and wear something from the Class of 2023, like a T-shirt or a class ring. Of course, they can also wear their cap and gown if they want to.
Krispy Kreme has given awards to graduates for the fourth year in a row. This year, a “Dough-ploma” sleeve is wrapped around the box of donuts.

“We started this during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we haven’t forgotten that the lives of this year’s graduates were heavily impacted by the pandemic,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s global chief brand officer, in a statement. “We are thrilled to celebrate their perseverance and spirit the best way we know how: free Original Glazed doughnuts.”
