Upon leaving the prison on Wednesday afternoon, Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Patrick Mahomes, declined to speak with members of the press. He maintained a serious expression while proceeding toward a vehicle.

According to jail records, Jackson Mahomes, who is the sibling of Kansas City Chiefs’ notable player Patrick Mahomes, was taken into custody on Wednesday on a charge of aggravated sexual battery. The charge was linked to an event that occurred at a Kansas restaurant back in February.

At approximately 7:45 AM, Mahomes was processed and placed under arrest. His bail was established at $100,000. Court records indicate that he has been accused of three charges of aggravated sexual battery and one charge of misdemeanor battery.

Allegedly, the owner of Aspens Restaurant and Lounge, a 40-year-old woman, has accused the 22-year-old social media influencer of both sexual and physical assault. Specifically, she stated that he attempted to kiss her forcefully on multiple Times.

The owner of the restaurant further asserted that Jackson appeared to be under the influence of alcohol earlier in the evening. She also accused him of pushing a male employee on her staff.

It’s worth noting that if Jackson is found guilty of aggravated sexual battery in Kansas, he could potentially face a sentence of up to 55 months.

Following the purported event, Jackson’s legal representative, Brandan Davies, made a statement in which he asserted that his client had not engaged in any misconduct.

“Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”

The occurrence seems to have been captured by surveillance cameras and has been the subject of a police inquiry since March.

After the allegations came to light, Jackson, who is recognized for sharing his everyday experiences on the internet, took a break from the public for a few weeks. However, he has since made a comeback on social media and recently attended the NFL Draft in Kansas City.

This isn’t the first time Jackson has been involved in a scandal; he previously faced criticism for pouring water on Baltimore Ravens supporters during a game in 2021, as well as doing a TikTok routine over the late NFL star Sean Taylor’s field memorial in Washington a few weeks later.

Furthermore, in 2022, he was recorded touching a woman’s face without consent in Las Vegas.
