It’s unfortunate to hear about Evan Neal’s injury, which occurred during the first quarter of last weekend’s game against Jacksonville. Reports say that Neal suffered an MCL injury and is expected to miss multiple weeks.

Early in the fourth quarter, Adoree Jackson, a cornerback for the New York Giants, went to the locker room. Jackson left the field after a hard hit in the middle of the field to a Jaguars receiver. The Giants say that Jackson is being checked for a head injury.

Rookie tight end With a minute left in the first half, Daniel Bellinger had to be carried off the field. During a catch-and-run, he got hit hard, and a defender’s hand went through his face mask. Bellinger has carried off the field and into the locker room with blood on his jersey.

Bellinger was taken out of the game because he hurt his left eye in the second half.

The coach, Brian Daboll, said, “His eye looks terrible right now.”

Evan Neal, the right tackle for the Giants, is out because he hurt his left knee early in the second quarter. Neal went down after Saquon Barkley rolled over him as he blocked for a run. Like Bredeson, Neal had to be carried to the locker room and was quickly ruled out.

Neal was able to limp off the field on his own, and Tyre Phillips took his place at right tackle.

Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network says that the current thought is that Neal hurt his MCL. When the Giants do more tests to find out what kind of injury it is, we’ll know more.

Ben Bredeson, the left guard for the Giants, hurt his knee in the first quarter of Week 7’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and will not be able to play.

After falling down with about five minutes left in the first quarter, Bredeson was able to leave the field on his own. It was scary when Bredeson was on the ground and several Giants were kneeling around him. Bredeson was able to hobble off the field, but he had to be carried into the locker room.

Overall, the play looked like a mess, and Bredeson may have gotten his legs caught in the trash around the line of scrimmage. Bredeson was replaced at left guard by rookie Joshua Ezeudu for the rest of the drive.

The Giants have had injuries all season, and the first six games have put their depth to the test. Again, their depth will be put to the test when they have to play without their starting guard and their main backup center.
