A 22-year-old Woman Was Killed In An Early Morning Shooting In Pontiac

The Pontiac woman who was found dead on Sunday is being looked into by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

A 22-year-old woman was found lying on the sidewalk in front of a home on West Columbia Avenue in Pontiac, per the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say they were dispatched to the scene at 4:22 a.m. in response to a report of gunfire.

When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered the deceased woman.

Officials think that she has connections to Pontiac and Detroit, but they don’t know where she lives.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and officials have scheduled an autopsy.
