Tom Brady, the National Football League’s all-time leading passer, is reportedly retiring after 22 seasons and seven Super Bowl victories, but he will not be the highest-paid player in the league.
Brady, who would finish his final season with a playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, was only the 17th highest-paid player in the NFL during the 2021 season, tied at $25 million with Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr and Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett. Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs is the league’s highest-paid player, earning $45 million for the 2021 season.

According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star will join Fox’s NFL coverage after retiring from the league. His contract will be worth $37.5 million per year for the next ten years.
That total ($375 million) would be more than his $333 million in NFL career earnings after the 2022 season, according to Spotrac.
When he retires, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has agreed to a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox Sports.
Tom Brady’s Net Worth
Brady’s Net worth is $250 million as of 2022, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com.
Despite his numerous accolades and wealth, Brady isn’t even the highest-earning member of his family. That honor goes to Bündchen, who is estimated to be worth $400 million.
Of course, both of them are wealthy beyond most people’s wildest dreams, so debating who earns more is almost comical when they both earn so much. Despite his large contract from Fox, Brady appears to be the No. 2 earner in their household.
